What Should I Do If I Am Replacing My Smart Device?
The BUZUD CGM sensor can only connect to one smart device at a time. If you’re switching to a new smartphone, please follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition:
1. On Your Old Smartphone:
- Open the BUZUD CGM app and remove the currently connected CGM sensor from the app.
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, find the BUZUD CGM device, and unpair it.
2. Wait at Least 15 Minutes
- After unpairing, wait at least 15 minutes to allow the sensor to fully disconnect from the old device.
3. On Your New Smartphone:
- Install the BUZUD CGM app and log in using the same account as before.
- Follow the in-app setup wizard to pair your sensor.
- When prompted, enter the pairing code. You can find the code:
- On the sensor applicator packaging, or
- In the BUZUD CGM app on your old device.
⚠️ Important: Be sure to complete the removal and unpairing process on your old device. Otherwise, the sensor may not be able to connect to your new phone.
