Certain phone settings may interfere with the normal operation of the BUZUD CGM Follow app. To ensure the app works as expected, please review and adjust the following settings on your Android device.

1. App Pause (Android 10 and above)

App Pause temporarily disables apps and stops all notifications.

How to exit App Pause:

  • Long press the BUZUD Follow app icon on your home screen or in the app drawer
  • Tap the Pause icon or option and disable it

2. Focus Mode

Focus Mode disables selected apps and prevents notifications.

How to turn it off:

  • Go to Settings
  • Find Digital Wellbeing
  • Turn off Focus Mode, or make sure BUZUD Follow app is not listed under Distracting Apps

3. Battery Saver Mode

Battery Saver Mode limits background activity, which may delay notifications from BUZUD Follow.

How to turn it off:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Battery
  • Turn off Battery Saver Mode, or select the highest performance mode available

4. Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb (DND) silences all notifications, including alerts from the BUZUD Follow app. Avoid enabling DND if you rely on timely CGM alerts.

How to turn it off:

  • Go to Settings
  • Disable Do Not Disturb or Total Silence

5. Notifications

Notifications must be allowed for the BUZUD Follow app to send alerts and updates.

How to turn them on:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Apps, then select BUZUD
  • Tap Notifications
  • Turn on Allow Notifications

6. Internet Connection (Wi-Fi or Cellular Data)

An active internet connection is required to view CGM readings and receive alerts. If no Wi-Fi is available, make sure Cellular Data is turned on.

If your phone or carrier doesn’t support simultaneous voice and data (VoLTE), your connection may drop during calls, delaying alerts.

How to check connection:

  • Go to Settings
  • Enable Wi-Fi or Cellular Data
  • If supported, enable VoLTE in Cellular Data Options

Settings and menu names may vary depending on your Android version. For more details, refer to your phone’s user manual. To check your Android version, go to Settings > About Phone > Android Version.
