1. Overview

BUZUD Pte Ltd ("BUZUD", "we", "us") respects your right to control your personal data. As the developer of the BUZUD – Reimagined Healthcare application, we provide users with a straightforward way to request deletion of their account and associated personal data, in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and Google Play's Data Safety requirements.

This page explains how to request deletion of your BUZUD account, what data will be deleted, and what data we are required to retain.


2. How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your BUZUD account directly from within the app at any time. No external form is required.

In-App Deletion Steps

  1. Open the BUZUD app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap the Profile (个人中心 / Me) tab at the bottom right of the home screen.
  3. Tap Settings (设置).
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account (删除用户 / 注销账户).
  5. Read the on-screen confirmation notice carefully.
  6. Confirm the request by re-entering your verification code (sent to your registered phone number or email).
  7. Once confirmed, your account will enter a 7-day grace period during which you may cancel the request by logging back in. After the grace period, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

3. Data That Will Be Deleted

When your account deletion request is finalized, the following data will be permanently deleted from our production systems:

  • Account credentials (username, hashed password, registered email and phone number)
  • Profile information (name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, profile photo)
  • Health and physiological measurements collected through the app, including:
    • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) readings
    • Electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings
    • Blood pressure, SpO₂, body temperature, body composition records
    • Blood lipid records
  • Food intake logs, photos, and AI-generated nutritional analysis
  • Activity, sleep, and lifestyle data
  • Linked device information and pairing history
  • In-app messages, support tickets, and feedback submissions
  • Push notification tokens and marketing preferences

4. Data That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, BUZUD is required by law or legitimate business need to retain certain information even after account deletion. Retained data is segregated, access-restricted, and used only for the stated purposes.
