We do not enforce pairing with the App, but for the initial use, if you don't pair it with the mobile App, the watch's functionality is limited, with only the experience of alcohol detection and temperature detection. You won't be able to experience other functions. We recommend pairing the watch with the Buzud App downloaded and installed on your mobile phone for the first use.
