Why can't the hearing aid connect?
When trying to connect a hearing aid, ensure that both the hearing aid and the smartphone are in a "ready to connect" state.
The "ready to connect" state means:
- Bluetooth on the smartphone is turned on.
- The hearing aid has been taken out of its charging case.
- The hearing aid is powered on.
If the hearing aid has sufficient battery life, it should automatically power on when taken out of the case. If it doesn't, you can place it back in the case for a moment and then take it out again. If your hearing aid has physical buttons, you can also try pressing and holding the "power" button or the "volume-" button to manually turn it on.
If you're still unable to connect, please check the following:
- Ensure both the hearing aid and the charging case have sufficient battery.
- Turn off your phone's Bluetooth, then turn it back on and attempt to connect.
- Keep the smartphone and hearing aid as close as possible with no obstructions in between.
- If you've previously added this device, try removing it from the list of paired devices.
- Check for any obvious physical damage to the hearing aid.
