What are the three checks to be done before measuring blood pressure?

Is the wrist cuff correctly fastened? Tighten the lower part of the wristband and ensure there are no gaps. Incorrect fastening can lead to inaccurate measurements. Is there any talking or movement during the measurement? Activity, talking, drinking, hunger, satiety, fatigue, stress, and other factors can cause fluctuations in blood pressure. Therefore, choose the right time to measure and try to relax naturally throughout the entire measurement process, avoiding movement and talking as much as possible. Is the posture during measurement correct? Blood pressure is essentially a type of fluid pressure. Lifting the hand will result in a lower blood pressure reading while lowering it will yield a higher reading. Therefore, it is important to sit upright and try to ensure that the vertical distance from the top of the head to the heart remains roughly equal during each measurement and that the wristband is at the same height as the heart. Do not grip the palm tightly; keep it naturally open without making a fist.
